22″x36″ Acrylic on Canvas. This commission was for a painting on the wall, of a set for a play. Had some fun with the colors and the repeditive image of the woman.
24″x36″ Mixed Media. (Oil Polyurethane and acrylic paint mixed.)
This was fun to create….an experiment of sorts. I wanted to see the reactions of mixing and oil product with a water product. It has given me some further experimental ideas, can’t wait to explore more.
16″x20″ Acrylic on Canvas. This was a commission for a friend of my daughters. I had a little trouble with this one and it sat on my easel for a ridiculous amount of time. I was very happy when I finished it up. I loved the contrast of colors from the black to very colorful. The angle of the instrument intrigued me.
24″x30″ Acrylic on Canvas. I love the colors in this painting. I did a similar mural of this a couple of years ago, but wanted a version one could move to a different wall. The fun part that I added to this painting, is that when the lights go out the “sun” becomes a “moon” that glows in the dark.
Acrylic Abstract 18″ x 24″ This is currently the only Self portrait available of me. Theta is the greek word for spirit. I chose this name because I believe as Leonardo Da Vinci did in his quote: “Where the spirit does not work with the hand, there is not art.”
Acrylic 16″ x 20″ Fun colors & wimsical, this lion was the brain child of my son. He dictated the colors and subject matter. I was the only the hand that painted it.
