22″x36″ Acrylic on Canvas. This commission was for a painting on the wall, of a set for a play. Had some fun with the colors and the repeditive image of the woman.
24″x36″ oil on Canvas. I created this painting for a group called Artists for a better world (.org). It is our logo with a dove added. It is a a group that is working to create a better world through the arts each in their own community. I take it to our annual artsfestival each year in the fall in Hollywood CA.
24″x36″ Mixed Media. (Oil Polyurethane and acrylic paint mixed.)
This was fun to create….an experiment of sorts. I wanted to see the reactions of mixing and oil product with a water product. It has given me some further experimental ideas, can’t wait to explore more.
12″x24″ Acrylic. This was a commission for a young girl who loves giraffes. She really liked animals from Africa. It was commissioned to be a gift from one student to another. The request was to have it colorful and fun.
Acrylic Abstract 18″ x 24″ This is currently the only Self portrait available of me. Theta is the greek word for spirit. I chose this name because I believe as Leonardo Da Vinci did in his quote: “Where the spirit does not work with the hand, there is not art.”
Acrylic 11′ x 14″ Eagle eyes are watching you. I was particularly inspired by the look in this hunter’s eyes, I keep this image close to remind me to stay on task. This colorful interpretation of an eagle is one of my favorites.
Acrylic 16″ x 20″ Fun colors & wimsical, this lion was the brain child of my son. He dictated the colors and subject matter. I was the only the hand that painted it.
Oil on Canvas 16″x 20″ This painting is a reproduction I take no credit for the actual work… it was commissioned by a private museum in Phoenix Arizona.
The Indian on the horse was a fun painting to do. Lots of detail. I enjoy studying the painters of the past as I believe we have lots we can learn from rediscovering how they painted.
